Summer Internship – ERP Data & Business Operations Analyst

Position Overview:
Busek is undergoing a company-wide ERP transformation, transitioning from Deltek to Epicor to modernize and scale our business operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated intern to support this high-impact initiative.

This role offers hands-on experience working across Finance, Accounting, and Supply Chain, helping ensure data accuracy and integrity as we migrate and structure critical business information into the new ERP system. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a major systems implementation at a growing aerospace company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, validate, and clean data across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Purchasing systems.
• Partner with Accounting, AP, and Supply Chain teams to gather, verify, and reconcile data.
• Support the migration of data from Deltek to Epicor, ensuring accuracy and consistency in ERP templates.
• Update and maintain ERP data import templates for multiple business functions.
• Perform detailed audits of entered data to ensure completeness and accuracy across all required fields.
• Identify discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and follow through to resolution.
• Assist with additional ERP-related data tasks and process improvements.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers and suppliers (via email or phone) to verify and obtain missing or unclear information.
• Support cross-functional teams during the ERP implementation as needed.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Operations, or Information Systems.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets with accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to engage with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
