Position Overview 
Busek is seeking an experienced MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Specialist to manage and optimize our production operations using Manufacturo. The role ensures accurate, real-time tracking of manufacturing processes, supports quality and compliance standards, and drives efficiency across our aerospace manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the shop floor and enterprise systems, enabling seamless production planning, execution, and reporting. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Manufacturo to support manufacturing, supply chain, and quality processes. 
  • Assist in integrating the MES data with ERP and PLM systems. 
  • Assist in creating dashboards for KPI tracking, using either SQL or the MES API. 
  • Train and support shop floor personnel in MES usage and best practices. 
  • Ensure full traceability of components and assemblies, supporting AS9100, ITAR, and other aerospace compliance requirements. 
  • Help maintain accurate production documentation for customer audits, internal reviews, and supplier interactions. 

Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 
  • Experience with MES, PLM, and ERP systems, preferably in aerospace or complex manufacturing. 
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing standards, including AS9100, ITAR, DFARS, or equivalent. 
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate data into actionable insights. 

Preferred Skills 
  • Experience with complex aerospace hardware manufacturing or a similar industry 
  • Exposure to digital manufacturing and supply chain tools, dashboards, and manufacturing analytics.
